February 10, 1969 Community Bldg. 8:00 pm

Pres. Mr. Paul Duncan called the meeting to order. The minutes of the last meeting were read and corrections were made.

Mr. Duncan told the members about the special meeting. A discussion was held on how the members would like study groups on the different subjects. Mention was made of a teacher or of films. A club library was also suggested. Someone suggested that we might be able to get Mr. Hesslen to talk to the group on Indian Pottery. The Club members as a whole seem to favor a program which would have teachers out of our own group.

It was decided to have a Rock Show in conjunction with the Flower Show on May 11. Mr. White made a motion that the Show Committee decide on the Show Theme and that it be submitted at the next meeting. Vote was unanimous.

It was decided that we leave our name tags with Dorothy Sitarz after each meeting. Thank you Dorothy for volunteering in that department.

The field trip will be to the Gem and Mineral Show at Tucson. Mr. Whitney made a motion that members wishing to would go to Deming on the 22^nd-23^rd. Margie seconded the motion. The vote carried. Meet at State Rockhound Park at 10 am Sunday. Group going Sunday to meet at Bob’s Home Café in Willcox at 7 am.

Ralph Hamilton made a motion to adjourn and Sandra Paradise seconded it.
